This new partnership will see Thurston providing full kits and training tops for the grassroots team, competing in the Doncaster & District League.

For the Under 10s, this sponsorship represents a milestone. Until now, they played in mismatched kits without any external sponsorship, despite their impressive track record on the pitch. Based between Thurston’s three main sites in Wakefield, Hull, and Catfoss, Snaith Juniors caters to young players aged 5 to 14, nurturing local talent and instilling a love for the game in the local community.

The Under 10s recently celebrated a standout season, competing not only within their age group but also holding their own against older teams and even youth academies from elite clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City, and Leicester City. This underdog spirit resonated with Thurston, making the decision to support the team an easy one.

Stuart Waddell, a Thurston employee and parent of one of the players, helped bring this partnership to life, solidifying a local connection that further underlines Thurston’s commitment to grassroots initiatives.
