Anti-vandal security gatehouse

Thurston Group were appointed to Design, manufacture and deliver an Anti-vandal Security Gatehouse for Cargill, Thirsk.

The security gatehouse was being incorporated into a Weighbridge structure to enable haulage drivers a better access / egress from the clients site in North Yorkshire.

Throughout the early engagement our buildings design was needed to be value engineered, to meet the tight budget, having reviewed many  external finishes, we finalized on a painted external finish, with powder coating all windows and doors grey, whilst still keeping the internal air conditioning units for comfort heat / cooling.

The unit is a tough low maintenance building that is designed to provide a whole-life durability, whilst providing additional space requirements with minimal groundwork and minimal user and site disruption.
