Thurston’s Group’s contract with Aldi included designing, manufacturing, and installing a single bay gatehouse at its site at Neston.

Using the JCT 2011 Form of Contract for the design and build, we worked closely with the client to deliver the gatehouse, which comprised of:

• Control Room
• Lobby
• Plant Room
• Disabled WC
• Driver WC
• Beverage Area
• Cleaner Store

The manufacturing process involved using non-combustible, zinc-rich, ‘self-healing, galvanised steel to the roof, walls and floors. This provided a high-quality finish built to last.
