- Approved supplier on three major national frameworks
- Covering healthcare, education, and wider public sector projects
- A key milestone supporting Thurston’s growth and MMC leadership

We’re proud to have been named an approved supplier on three significant national frameworks covering education, healthcare, and wider public sector building projects.
These awards represent a major strategic step forward in our growth plans and strengthen our position as a trusted provider of modern methods of construction (MMC) across the UK.
NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) – Modular Buildings 3 Framework
Thurston has been awarded four lots, covering projects up to £15m, on the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Modular Buildings 3 Framework for the second consecutive term.
Running from June 2025 to June 2029, the framework provides a compliant route for purchasing, hiring, or leasing modular buildings across the NHS and wider public sector, including education, local authorities, and emergency services.
This aligns with our ability to deliver turnkey modular solutions that reduce carbon, improve cost efficiency, and accelerate delivery in high-demand sectors.
Kat Jackson, Principal Category Manager at NHS SBS, said: “With over £1.1bn spent through our Modular Buildings Framework since 2017, NHS SBS provides a trusted, compliant route to market. Approved organisations can access solutions ranging from off-the-shelf units to full turnkey projects.”
London Construction Programme (LCP) – £3bn Education Framework
Thurston has also secured a place on Lot 1.4 (MMC and Temporary Buildings) of the £3bn education framework led by the London Borough of Haringey.
The framework provides access to over 60 public sector bodies across London and the Home Counties, covering projects from £1m to £5m+ including new builds, refurbishments, and fire safety improvements.
This creates a direct route to support local authorities focused on sustainability and innovation.
LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) – Modular Buildings (MB3) Framework
Thurston has also been named as one of 19 suppliers on the £265m Modular Buildings (MB3) framework by the LHC Procurement Group.
Running until May 2029, the framework covers design, delivery, hire, and refurbishment of modular buildings across education, healthcare, defence, and community sectors.
We will deliver projects across the Midlands, London and South East, Northern Procurement Alliance (NPA), and South West Procurement Alliance (SWPA) regions.
All three frameworks prioritise offsite manufacturing, faster delivery, sustainability, and SME participation — aligning closely with Thurston’s strengths as a trusted manufacturer with over 50 years of experience.
Matt Goff, Managing Director, said:
“Securing these three contracts is a major milestone for Thurston Group, strengthening our leadership in the UK modular sector.
These frameworks allow us to support critical public infrastructure across healthcare, education, and community sectors, while helping organisations meet key targets around sustainability, social value, and speed of delivery.
We’re excited to expand our reach, support a growing client base, and continue to champion modern methods of construction.”
