Design and build contract
Back in 2016 Thurston Group manufactured a “SureSpan” Modular 2 bay building, for Arrow Cars at Bristol Airport. This design and build contract and was completed in less than a month.
The new taxi booking office was completed using the Thurston Galvanised Steel “Surespan” modular system, but included large windows and electronic doors.
Our in-house design team worked closely with the client from the outset of the feasibility design, whilst also incorporating the client’s specific requirements. All designs were submitted for our client’s final approval and once a design freeze was in place the manufacture of the building in a quality-controlled environment could commence, at the same time as the on-site works begin.
There were a few changes made throughout the manufacturing period, with some internal finishes and fittings changed by the client to ensure the end user’s needs were met in line with the client’s original vision.
