We’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotion of Joe Hatfield from group production planner to Assistant Production Manager at our Wakefield facility. Joe has been a valuable asset to Thurston Group for the past three years, consistently demonstrating his dedication and expertise.

Before joining Thurston, Joe held roles in production management, planning, supervision, and warehousing therefore bringing a wealth of experience to the table.  He further strengthened his skillset by obtaining an ILM Level 3 Management of People qualification and a Level 2 Management of Mental Health in the Workplace qualification.

During his time at Thurston, Joe hasn’t stopped growing. He’s currently completing a Level 5 CMI Operational & Departmental Management qualification, showcasing his commitment to continuous improvement.

In his new role, Joe will transition from a focus on financial and production planning to a more hands-on manufacturing and people management role within the Wakefield facility. He’ll leverage his deep understanding of the business and its operations to streamline processes, boost output, and empower the team. Joe’s fresh perspective and management style promise to bring a new dimension to the shop floor.

Please join us in congratulating Joe on his well-earned promotion! We’re excited to see him continue his journey at Thurston and contribute to the success of our Wakefield facility.
