We have an excellent opportunity for you to join a prestigious Modular & Portable Building manufacturer permanently, working 4 shifts per week (Monday to Thursday) with excellent rates of pay. Thurston Group are recruiting in our Horbury, Ottringham and Catfoss Locations, experienced MIG Welders to join their ever growing and successful team on a full time, permanent contract.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a time served, experienced MIG Welder that can demonstrate the ability to weld to high standards on galvanised steel 0.7mm to 6mm, but mostly in 1.2mm steel/1.6mm sheet steel.

 MIG Welder main duties:

• Operation of Welding Plant and Hand Tools
• Quality checking of all completed work
• Working to a Customer demand schedule for on-time deliveries
• Working to the highest levels of Safety and Quality

Welder Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous MIG Welding experience
• Be highly motivated with good communication skills
• High levels of concentration
• Ability to maintain high housekeeping levels
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team

For all the above requirements you will be offered:

• A highly competitive hourly rate of £18.00
• Basic 45 hours per week

Due to some of our locations, it is preferred you have your own transportation.
