Dan Pollard is the production director at Thurston Group. He brings over 25 years of experience working in the offsite construction and modular manufacturing industry, having held roles which have taken him across the globe.  

At Thurston his focus  is on driving greater efficiency through increased productivity, smarter use of technology and waste reduction, while scaling operations and enhancing manufacturing capabilities.  

Dan holds two master’s degrees – one in Global Business Strategy, and another in Construction Project Management – as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt in Manufacturing & Quality. 

With a proven track record of leading high-performing production teams, Dan’s expertise lies in production, innovation, and delivery planning, with a particular interest in using automated and digitised processes to maximise operational efficiency and excellence. 

He is recognised as a thought leader on smarter construction methods, has been published in various trade titles, and has contributed to a range of industry events and podcasts on modern methods of construction and digital innovation.
