Head of Quality & Compliance

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Quality & Compliance to lead our Quality and Compliance function across all four of our modular manufacturing sites.

Reporting to the Production Director, this role is central to our commitment to delivering safe, compliant, and high-performing buildings that meet rigorous industry standards.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, lead a talented team, and ensure we meet (and exceed) customer, regulatory, and internal quality expectations.

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading our company-wide Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001.
  • Managing all internal and external audits, overseeing NCRs and corrective actions.
  • Ensuring end-to-end product quality – from design through to installation.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for accreditation bodies and regulatory authorities.
  • Building and developing a multi-site Quality & Compliance team structure.
  • Embedding a culture of quality, compliance, and collaboration across all operational teams.

    • What we’re looking for:

    • A proven leader in quality and compliance, ideally with experience in modular/offsite construction or manufacturing.
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, UK building regulations, and industry schemes like NHBC, BOPAS, LABC, and CE/UKCA marking.
    • Someone who thrives in a multi-site environment and can confidently guide teams and influence across all levels.
    • A strong communicator with analytical mindset and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

      • Desirable:

      • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
      • Familiarity with ISO 14001 / 45001 and sector-specific accreditation schemes
      • Engineering or construction background
